Barnstorm Dance Festival is an annual dance festival in Houston. I was commissioned to create a visual campaign for the festival including a series of posters, social media marketing images, an eblast, postcard and magazine ad.

The client provided photographs from the previous year’s performances which they wanted used on the campaign. Since the performers change from year to year, using photos from works that would not be shown would have been misleading. My solution was to invert the images, set in a modern color palette, creating a cohesive set of images that impart a dream-like emotional impact.
