Lost Soles Climbing serves a dual purpose: they are the premiere climbing shoe cobbler in Houston, and guides to outdoor climbing, leading excursions anywhere from Austin, TX, and Red Rocks in Nevada, to international trips. I was hired to create the visual brand from the ground up. The goal was to create a bright and energetic identity system to capture the exciting world of rock climbing. Black and white photography paired with a bright neon yellow, display the grit of the climb and the excitement of the sport, while maintaining a clean look and feel.
The Lost Soles logo is inspired by the ancient petroglyphs found in Hueco Tanks in Texas, the spot where founder Max Deisch discovered his love for outdoor climbing. “Sole Man” became an icon in the Houston climbing community and throughout the climbing world.
