SPiN is an art-loving, ping-pong social club based in New York. I was excited to work on this project because of my sincere love for ping pong and well, food and beverage. The final product was a duo of a double-sided menus, built around their exciting brand.

ideation
Sometimes ambitious ideas don’t fully come to fruition. The original idea was to produce a zine-style menu that would reflect the punk attitude of the SPiN brand. The menu would be include the beverages and food offerings, laid out in graphically bold, typographic-heavy pages, along with Instagram-style food photography. There would also be featured articles and pages filled with artwork from artists tagging their work on Instagram. The zine would be re-printed semi-annually to keep the content fresh. Each “issue” would become a time capsule, a sort of yearbook of art, that could be a tactile book (read: non-screen-based) to browse through while waiting for the next round on the ping pong table.
